The chef was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even better. His expertise really shone through in the quality of the roast, and he was a pleasure to have around. We were worried that for a smart black tie event that they would not be the right thing, but they were wonderful. They were invariably professional, well organised, accommodating and efficient people with which to deal. The pork itself was juicy and really delicious – cooked for hours – they had woken at 4am to have it ready for 8:30pm but the crackling was what attracted the highest praise. The sides and salads were all great too – and they served my birthday cake with their usual efficiency. They seemed to be a really well run and friendly team of people too, if only more businesses were like them.
